Remember that Arthur’s book value is EU22m. We need that amount to avoid a loss. Another option is a loan with obligation to buy at 10-15m. His market value according to transfermkt is 15m.

The other big issue is that his net wage was 4.5m that can go up to 9m including easy to achieve bonuses. Fiorentina was only paying him 2.5m net with Juventus paying the rest. That is also a stumbling block.
Depreciation/amortization is still a hit on the books… if anyone makes an offer Juve will take in but unfortunately no one is… maybe Juve can only avoid or reduce loss if he can get something outside Europe

I can see your point…. Taking 15m now and taking a loss of 7m might be similar to loaning him out but Arthur would also need to accept much lower wages which makes it difficult

how is he still here
We are probably looking to make a permanent sell but are likely dealing with only loan+option type of offers because nobody is willing to invest big in a expensive flop with questionable fitness…

Still think he’ll be gone by the end of the mercatto one way or another though, but probably on a major discount.

If Wolves is really interested, we should ask them to swap him with Gonçalo Guedes, he can be a backup for everyone in our attacking third
His valuation is the same with Arthur in transfermarkt.com both are at 15m. and both are 27 years old (Gonçalo Guedes is 3 months younger than Arthur)

We can make this transfer as we buy him for 22m, and they buy Arthur from us for 22m. No loss in our accounting, we add some depth to our attacking line and we offload the unsellable, his wage is still attainable by EPL even the relegate zone club of EPL

The return of #Arthur to #Fiorentina remains difficult but not impossible. The contract of the Brazilian expires in 2026 with #Juventus, who in the last season took care of the full salary at €6M. From his side, the ex Barcelona is pushing for a return to the club of Commisso. A desire that, maybe with an agreement between the two clubs on the salary, could lead to the white smoke. Fiorentina? Commisso? Special deal for him, slap an extra 20% on the asking price and they pay 100% of his wages, no fucking around.
