He's not good enough defense wise to be a good LB and he's not good enough technically and brain wise to be a winger.

The only thing he's good at (imo) is running fast, very fast.

Not if he wastes his crosses.

Though i'm not one to judge his crossing abilities as i can't recall how he was in that area but i'm under the impression that he's not very good.

Fred should be able to tell you more.

It surprises me to think that Wenger would have kept him at the club as long as he has done if he saw zero potential. Also it seems as misguided to suggest that Traore could turn out amazing, as it is to conclude that in the few games he has played already, at a very young age, in a hugely competitive league, that he is now and will always be an awful defender...

I mean...for fucks sake...look at de ceglie. He has been shocking for us for a season or so, absolutely clueless defensively, but had determination, good stamina, and decent pace. Now, finally...it appears as if Del Neri is able to coax some decent form out of him. Suddenly he has a grasp of positioning, and also, thankfully, he can tackle. Early days of course, but the jury, my jury, definitely remains out, on our french recruit at left back.

So what? Wenger has kept Denilson in the first team, he has faith in friggin Almunia & Fabianski. Not all of his signings are talented or worthy of being in a team like Arsenal. Even sir alex made his fair share of mistakes like signing the likes of Djemba-Djemba.

Djemba Djemba :howler:

What a fluke player, he even came here to the region and played in Qatar, failed miserably and was branded one of the worst foreigners to play in the Qatari league. :sergio:

I am not earmarking Traore as a stunning signing, the answer to all our left back problems...I just don't see the point in concluding, before he has even played a game for us, that he is wretched, and will be nothing short of atrocious for us, if he does ever set foot on the pitch.

He is very young, he will get a chance, and i wish him the best of luck...

Will Traore recieve the same sort of favourable treatment round here for not being De Ceglie in the same way De Ceglie got it for not being Molinaro?

I hope this transfer can turns out to be brilliant.. wish him a good career with Juve but we can always shim him back to Arsenal if he turns to be flop for us
