jus to be picky.. its not 'premier' as the premiere has been and gone.

Its not a simultaneous release either due to time zones etc.

eg. first showings in england are at 00.01 on 5th (in 40 minutes from now)

yet first showing in america isnt for several hours yet

I'm dying to see both matrix and LOTR.

I read critics reviews and seems this matrix got the worse reviews of the 3. Still going to watch it and enjoy it no mattter what.

LOTR comes out usually around a week or two before Xmas.

Personally i thought it was crap.

After a reasonable first 15 mins it was mindnumbingly boring.
Far too sentimental and mushy, poor cgi and editing... but mainly just boring...
The dialog was nothing short of laughable the underuse of key cast members , the overuse of others etc etc etc

Ive never been in a cinema where so many have got up and left midway through.

The big finale was imo incredibly weak

Jus dissapointing!!

I know that this matrix will not surpass the first one (but which movie ever surpassed the original?) but I see it as just one story all together. For me the theories and mind boggling ideas they use is amazing, much more than the visuals, which are amazing.

Anyway LOTR is gonna rock as usual, hope it wins the oscar this year as a justice for previous years.
