I have pretty much no idea what they're saying, but Arabic hip hop is off da hook! I've been watching different videos on youtube.com. From my understanding the hottest places right now are Morocco, Palestine and France.

There is some serious music coming out of these places. Touching topics such as politics, religion, israel/palestine issue, violence, discrimination, etc.

From Palestine, there's DAM and Arapiyyat. From Morocco, Salahedin, Zanka Flow.

Check 'em out here:

I know there are a lot of arabs here, so in the words of AbuGadanzieri

I have to say that Arabic hip-hop still need sometime to develop....It's probably because all their topic is based on one issue and not like they can attract people. But anyhow, they're trying to improve as far as I know.

I have heard that in France there are some Arab Hip-Hopers and made songs that concern their problems there.
