Bianconeri youngsters Joel Untersee and Gabriel Appelt have both fractured their fibulas.
Untersee slipped during this morning’s routine training session and sustained the injury to his left ankle. The Swiss full-back’s leg was put in a protective brace and a precise prognosis will be made in the next few days.
Appelt, currently on loan at Pro Vercelli, reported the injury during this afternoon’s match with Modena. The Brazilian midfielder has already undergone medical examinations and will join Untersee in visiting Professor Quaglia on Monday.
