Back to the question. Yes, standard army training just incase you find yourself in a situation where you have no weapon.

Having said that, my RSM back in the day used to say one thing: "No weapon better than common sense. If you find yourself in a situation where you are unarmed. Defer to the man with the gun unless something gives you the advantage of surprise. This isn't the movies!"

I miss that fellow. Sgt. Ibrahim Hassan NA...

I know a few tai quan do moves.. if u practice enough, the moves become natural in fight situations. i know this from experience. its good to know how to defend urself ;)

i did tae kwon do (sp?) for 3 or 4 years when i was younger. quit when i was about 11, but i think i got to a red belt?

Yes, definetely some standard army fight training must be the easiest and most effective.

I know Tae Kwon Doe, I practised for a good 7 years or so...its been years now:(...but I guess it will all come out if I ever need it god forbid.
