No, that wouldn't work very well. For one thing your harddrive would have to be no bigger than to fit on a cd, which I think it highly unlikely since cm4 alone is huge. Besides, I doubt cm4 would recognize that hybrid disc as the original cdrom.
It was an altogether bad call, gray, for so many reasons
Copying a cd implies transferring the files from the cd onto another cd, not duplicating your hard drive. Ie. gray did NOT suggest a way to copy the cd
Just do a regular copy for starters, use a cd-rw so that you can try again if it doesn't work.

There's no problems. Actually you should do this with all your games. You'll save your drive from slowly killing itself.
That's an idea. I've already ground it into...well, the ground, and have to use the dvd drive to start games. Of course, I should really replace the drive, but I'm lazy, and cheap, being a student and all.
