I have been following Juve for over 10 years but never got to a game. I want to go over in September but have never done it before.

Anyone out there got an advice or mind giving me some words of wisdom?

reply to this or just pm me instead

Budget isn't really a problem. its more to do with other things to do in turin, customs, buying tickets, getting to the game

I dont speak Italian and so want to know all i need to know

as for it only being relevent going from the uk, as i live in the uk then for me its only relevent. for others, who knows

if that so its easy , i advice you to do these steps :

1-get a plane to Milan malpensa int airport

2-stay at milan city instead of turin , i prefer fourseasons hotel its (100$-180$) or try marconi hotel it (85$-110$)

3-ask the concirge about the tickets and they will provide that for you !

4-u will take the train to turin it's only an hour time as long as ur going to watch the match and going back to milan.

if ur really serious u have to book the ticket from now !!

You really have no fvcking idea about traveling to turin from the uk .... do you ?

Btw: $180 wouldnt buy you a starter yet alone a room in the fourseasons milan. Not that great a hotel anyway, though Il Teatro is superb...

Must be that special customs line they make UK residents go through in Turin.

All of us non-UK residents take the other route, where we get champagne limo service at the airport, a complimentary assortment of cocaine and high-class hookers at the hotel, and passes to the Juve locker room at the delle Alpi. So I could see why our experience would be completely irrelevant to you. ;)

    Sounds like a laugh...

All I was saying that because I'd be going from Uk to Italy, those bits of advice would be much more useful. Although if you have any advice on what to do while there, especially for someone who doesnt speak the langauge, that would be good.

I've been and seen Juve a couple of times, and am planning another trip this season.

I usually fly Ryanair from Stansted to Turin, you can get flights very cheap, they usually cost around £40 return, just check out their site for prices.

Last time I went I stayed in a small hotel in Turin, it was cheap (not much more than a tenner a night) and it was very good for the money. I don't recall the name of it, but it was central and not far from Via Garibaldi - where I believe there is now the official Juve store.

Turin is a nice place, so you've have no problems finding stuff to do, last time I went for a week and went and saw Juve train virtually every day - which was quality. That was when they trained in the Communale, I haven't been to the new training ground yet so I don't know how close it is to the city centre.

I got my tickets for the match in a newsagent (or an Italian equivalent to our newsagents), it was close to the stadium but I'm sure you can get tickets anywhere in Turin - I only went to the ground to buy tickets because that is how I bought them the last time. They were easy to buy, they had a plan of the stadium there so I could see exactly where my tickets were and exactly what I was getting.

And, as I'm sure you'll know the ground is never full so getting tickets isn't really a problem.

    Hope this helps.

I knew this would be a good idea, everyone is so helpful.

As far as tickets go, I agree, the stad is never full and dont know why I was recomended by one post to get them now, especialy as the fixture list isnt out yet? I asume it was a figure of speach.

Yeah Ryanaire seems a good idea.

I havn't been to Italy before and was thinking of staying in Milan for a few nights (weds til fri) then getting a train to turin an staying there over the weekend for the game.

I'll sit down and get some pointers out so I can ask you guys what I need to know, rather than everyone spilling their brains for me.

I guess one thing I want to know is whether the language barrier causes much of a problem?
