that doesn't make sense, not every pass he receives gives him a scoring chance. so if he receives a pass in the centre of the field should he also score from there?
No, this is why when he ends up in a situation where he's in the middle and he's given the ball, he usually gives it to someone else and runs to re-position.

In the end of the day, you know what I mean ;)

yeah, but he usually messes that up im not hating on Trez or anything but his passing is not the best and not Nocerino's passes were awful today and it wouldn't be a bad thing for the team if they both improved in that department

Nocerino has a boyfriend.
I don't how I missed this but, thanks for the photo minus your attempt at spreading rumors. Oh and he has a real life girlfriend just so everyone knows and........its not me.

About today's game....this is really tough for me to say but, I was a little disappointed in Antonio's passes today :embarasse but, i think he is improving every game. I love his style of play since he knows how to foul although he did get a yellow card :( plus he does a great job of winning balls in the midfield.

:shifty: Plus when I saw him go down with Bobo I was so nervous he was gonna be crushed he needs to learn who to foul and who to back off because he was definitely double his size!

Gilardino Returns To Azzurri Pack For South Africa Friendly

Following Italy's win over Georgia in Genoa last night, Azzurri coach Roberto Donadoni has altered his squad in anticipation of Wednesday's friendly against South Africa...

zoom - galleria Roberto Donadoni has wasted no time in adjusting his squad following Saturday's win over Georgia (pictured.)

The Azzurri racked up a routine win in Genoa to keep their qualification dreams on track and, with no competitive game scheduled for Wednesday, will now look forward to a friendly encounter with South Africa instead.

Accordingly, coach 'Don' has called up some new faces, both familiar and unfamiliar, for the Wednesday match.

Marco Amelia may start in goal after Gigi Buffon was sent home, while Cristian Zaccardo of Palermo has finally earned a recall to the side in defence.

In midfield, Pasquale Foggia could win his second cap, while Paolo Cannavaro and Giuseppe Dossena could make their debuts after receiving their inaugural call-ups.

But the biggest news is up front, where Alberto Gilardino of AC Milan has been recalled to the side after scoring twice against Lazio last week.

The squad in full:

Goalkeepers: Marco Amelia (Livorno), Gianluca Curci (Roma)

Defenders: Cristian Zaccardo (Palermo), Giandomenico Mesto (Udinese), Daniele Bonera (Milan), Alessandro Gamberini (Fiorentina), Paolo Cannavaro (Napoli), Giorgio Chiellini (Juventus), Giuseppe Dossena (Udinese)

Midfielders: Daniele De Rossi (Roma), Angelo Palombo (Sampdoria), Antonio Nocerino (Juventus), Riccardo Montolivo (Fiorentina), Franco Semioli (Fiorentina), Pasquale Foggia (Cagliari), Stefano Mauri (Lazio), Alessandro Rosina (Torino)

Forwards: Cristiano Lucarelli (S Donetsk), Alberto Gilardino (Milan), Vincenzo Iaquinta (Juventus).
