why does everyone at juventuz hate momo? he puts in a decent work-rate and he offers excellent defensive cover, yea he's not an attacking threat but a team needs at least two DM's on its roster.

oh and may I add, he has improved his passing over the years. e.g. it was his pass that gave krasic the last minute goal vs lazio earlier in the year...
ive seen people in wheel chairs have better ball control than sissoko, he is frankly a liability. sooner we sell him the better

Conte: 'I'm not Juve Coach yet'

Juventus will have a new Coach next season, but Antonio Conte insists “I haven’t signed anything yet and am still in charge of Siena.”

In today’s Press conference Gigi Del Neri confirmed he will not be at the helm next term, a decision that directors told him on Wednesday.

Now that Del Neri has officially been sacked with a year left to run on his contract, Juve are expected to appoint Conte on Monday.

“I am still in charge of Siena and have not signed anything yet,” protested Conte today.

“I am pleased to be associated with a great club like Juventus. The season isn’t over yet in Serie A or B, so it’s only right to say I am still considered the Coach of Siena until after the final game with Albinoleffe.”

Siena have nothing more to play for this term, having already mathematically achieved promotion.

It is a return to Turin for Conte, who wore the Bianconeri jersey for many years.

“We’ll see what happens at the end of the season. Right now I just want to end this campaign in the best way by giving the Siena fans more joyous moments.”

Seems like confirmation he's not gonna be with Siena after the game, so looking incredibly likely now.

Huge risk.

But lets face it, not many want to be our manager anymore.

I do think that Conte could do well, but it want all depend on him.

And many many others. Those two talked about him yesterday/today. But every day there's somebody who gives him the green light.

Not that it means anything, I just say.

Yeah, I've noticed that aswell. It's like everybody who has anything to do with football in Italy is promoting this move.

why do a lot of people think conte will stick to 4-4-2? i his short coaching career he may have used it a lot, but it could apply that his teams fit most with that setup.

and give young coaches a chance. everybody has to start somewhere. we haven't found success yet, but that does not mean, there isn't any chance conte will bring it. the problem till now weren't only the coaches, it was the players and how they were put together.

Didn't he also say that he doesn't adapt his approach according to the opponent? Yet he studies the opponent...it all sounds very weird.

he studies them but doesn't adapt to them.
that makes no sense. i assume you are taking italian quotes translated into english, and taking them verbatim...OR...that conte was misquoted. He would not even have got a job at siena, if he stated clearly and meant sincerely, that he never adapts to his opponents strengths and weaknesses.
