If conte is :

tactically on par with nel neri (not shure)
on par with subs (cant be worse)
able to install winner mentality into the team

He should do very well here, but the board needs to give him the players he needs, not those they want.

nice article about Galliani on football italia today
he's ruling out all kind of nice creative players milan could sign, because allegri wants a combative CM, wich they will get, along with a class left midfielder

thats a good board, buying players suited for the coach.

they didnt do it for a few years tho

Fact is Conte is a serie B coach - FACT even worse an amateur coach - FACT and is either the same level as delneri,or if not worse IMO. So if anyone guys wants conte/or is happy with getting Conte as coach, they must also be fans of Delneri:tup:

Conte is not even who we should worry about, its about how much the board are willing to actually support him in terms of providing a competative squad, you cant expect conte or any manager for that matter to work miracles with this shit.

Could you please provide the source of reference for those facts? Do you have empirical data to validate/verify those facts?

At MAX it would be as mercato consultant. Even that I'm skeptical.
That's what we need.. Someone knowing what it takes to be back among top 3.. Someone with balls.. Someone with big club mentality.. We miss that..

Edit: You are probably right, the chances of him coming back are very slim!

Conte is a coach in Serie B, Siena - fact, conte only managed a club in Serie A with Atalanta, and failed to make the grade their, so badly that the fans protested against him:tup: and subsequently sacked cause of the teams poor performances - so they got rid of him. He manager Bari in serie A, but only managed them for brief time and soon left, due to mutual contest. He is an amateur coach because he is not even a proven serie A coach, and floped their, the only time he has ever coached in a top flight league - Great credentials, no?:sergio: Fact is if he wasn't a club legend as a player, but still had the exact same credentials, and was made coach you guys would commit suicide:lol::tup:
