Maybe, but my point was really that it's such an unremarkable event that it isn't worth remarking on. But I guess it looks nice when you dress it up as it was, to try to enhance a point. AVB will be judged on what he does at Porto, nothing else.

Well no one cares about that he coached the brittish virgin isles over a decade ago, its a start to career, but nothing else. AVB is highly wanted because his stellar work in Porto.

How many 21 year-olds do you clowns see coaching national teams?
He was technical director and basically doubled as coach for two games. Their FA didn't even know how old or inexperienced he was, which should tell you all you need to know about the standard of the fricking British Virgin Islands setup

Siena won’t ruin Conte’s dream

Friday 20 May, 2011

Siena President Massimo Mezzaroma says it would be “stupid” to try and block Coach Antonio Conte’s proposed summer switch to Juventus.

“If Conte decides to leave then it would be stupid and wrong to try and stop him,” the Tuscan chief noted.

“Juventus are not only a football club to Conte, but they are much more.

“We have spoken about such a possible move happening, but, for the time being, he is still under contract with us.”

Conte has just led Siena back into the top flight after taking charge of the Stadio Artemio Franchi outfit less than a year ago.

The former Italian international, who spent 13 years at Juventus as a player and a captain, is expected to replace Gigi Del Neri in Turin at the end of the campaign.

So apparently the only people that would have a problem with Conte coming here the few in this thread

Quite a few ex players want Conte to move to Juventus as well (Tacchinardi, Di Livio). Maybe Moggi will rejoin Juventus in the summer as well, he's given his support to the deal.

It would be a good trade off if Moggi & Conte > in and Marotta & DN > out

The addition of Moggi would make up for Conte and the satisfaction of dumb and dumber leaving would be priceless
