@Dru: The fact that were not willing to give him the guarantees he needs for the mercato and/or paying his buyout clause of 15m, which sounds steep - but if he clicked and was here for the better part of the decade would amount to nothing if Juve became a winning team again.

He's 103% our next coach
By signing him we wont only waste our next season, this wasted already, we are wasting the next as well, just like we did when we have signed DN.

Once again we are wasting our season before it even started... its really bad that a former symbol has to become the new pawn to waste, the scapegoat to take the blame, a new coaching carrier about to get wasted...
At least this time Conte knows where he is coming, DD didnt and Ferrara had less to lose.

Agnelli should just let us go and sell us to an investor who is willing to invest us, they are doing more damage to our club, that Moratti's men did...

It all traces back to our boards incompetence to look towards the bigger picture/future

Although I admire conte as former juve legend I still doubt he will be any improvement on del neri or Ferrara. Best position we should hope for is 6th next season which Marotta may consider it as success

The only thing satisfying about Antonio Conte is that he isn't a pushover. He actually got an admirable character and charisma, something that was missing in our previous coaches post-calciopoli apart from Deschamps. His tactical ability is questionable of course until he proves otherwise in Serie A.

We somehow desperate find things to be pro of in this arent we? Why do you think he is more of an admirable strong character/less of a pushover, or charismatic then Ciro Ferrara? Ciro was one of the most liked italian players as a person, and was a model professional (unlike Conte, bit of a headcase). And where did that take Ciro as a Juve coach?

I can imagine a counter argument from a Conte supporter saying that it is unfair to compare because Ferrara was Napoli at heart

Antonio Conte had two FULL campaigns with Bari and Siena where he led them back to Serie A, still, it's Serie B.

Btw, I don't support Juve signing Conte, Mazzarri, Spalletti or any mediocre or unproven coach. I just said the ONLY satisfying thing is Conte's character which Ciro Ferrara obviously lacked in his first season as a football manager. I believe Conte had full control over his players during his short career, of course, you can argue that Delneri also did with Chievo and Samp. That's why I question Conte's tactical knowledge.
