I certainly prefer Conte to Delneri, Mazzarri and Gasperini.

Ancelotti, Van Gaal or Deschamps would be better though.
That is exactly what I am thinking. Conte could be some sort of point under which mediocrity starts. On the other hand, he is still very close to being one. The point is that people would not know how to react to the possible appointment of Conte since he is by far not great, but there are loads of worse possibilities.

Oh, and it is a close call if that point of mediocrity is not above Conte.

Why would the fans critique Siena if they're in second place?
Simply because they weren't first, fans get spoilt after a while. My cousin also told me Conte is quite arrogant at times, even stubborn, it's not the first time he has been protested against in his career.

The guy is leccese and took the Bari job for crying out loud, he has more than balls, he's probably mental, and I don't think he cares much about outside influences. It can be a positive or negative, depending on the situation.

The difference between Conte and Delneri is that Conte has been our captain and knows exactly what Juventus is and means. On the other hand, Delneri is a provincial manager with a provincial mentality who is merely content with a midtable position.

All might still have been okay if the players had fought the way that smaller teams players often do, to make up for a lack of ability.

Instead, too many wander around aimlessly and don't concentrate.

We should wait til the mercato and see what players come in before we scrutinize Conte. Look at what Allegri did with Milan.

One vital question, would you prefer Conte to Mazzari if Conte WASNT a former Juve player.

I bold player, because it has NOTHING to do with coaching.

I prefer Conte for 2 reasons:

He doesn't use a three men defense(which I hate).
He knows what it means playing and winning for Juve.
I saw Siena play this season, I like his 4-2-4 or offensive 4-4-2.

Where did that take Ferrrara? Who is more of a class professional then Conte was as a player (got the hint? :p). WHY DOES IT MATTER WHAT THEY DID OR KNEW AS PLAYERS, if they are coaching. If they are already proven good coaches, then yes formerly playing in the club is a bonus, but not when you are UNPROVEN, your past in the club shouldnt not be a main factor to be hired. I saw the same thing being argued for Ciro, people need to LEARN to seperate the two.

He is a Serie B coach
Mazzari is currently a 3rd in Serie A, defenite CL coach (who has had a long tenure of solid midtable coaching in Serie A)

Yes I dont like Mazzarri either (or his tactics), but dont pretend are are so many pro's to mention for Conte, the only one people who are pro for hiring him care about is that he is a fomer Juve player.
