No offense to Conte (was a great captain once for us) but are we seriously gonna take this stupid gamble ?!

Did we really get that "low" to hire a guy who's greatest achievement is promoting his team to serie A !!

I mean clubs like atlanta, siena, Bari... are the once who'd hire such a coach (not even mid-table clubs like Genoa or fiorentina, they wouldn't take that gamble). Whats wrong with our guys, seriously ?!!

Yeah, Conte plays an attack-oriented 4-4-2 so it looks more like this:

Buffon
Beck - Rolando - Chiellini - Ziegler
Fernando - Marchisio
Krasic - Matri - Aguero - Bastos

I'm down to sell Melo if we bring in Fernando, AND someone like Aguero.

That's more like a 4-1-4 though, I only see Fernando in the midfield.

if conte comes in would the chances of bringing in giovinco and play him on the left increase ????
I think they would based on what he has said about him in the media.

Antonio Conte: Juventus' Sebastian Giovinco Is The Right Substitute For Diego
The Italian coach believes Giovinco is on the same level as Diego...

Former Juventus midfielder Antonio Conte believes Sebastian Giovinco is the right man to replace Brazilian ace Diego for tonight's clash against Bordeaux.

The Italian youngster has been given the nod and the wink by his coach Ciro Ferrara after injuries ruled out Diego and Alessandro Del Piero.

Conte feels 'La Formica Atomica' will offer his side plenty of options.

"Giovinco is the perfect replacement for Diego," Conte told Radio Radio.

"I would have him in my team always. He is ready and he can construct his own future at Juventus. No-one can beat the opposition like he does."

The former midfielder has also given his views on the Scudetto race with bitter rivals Inter.

"The title will be fought between those two teams and the winners will be the ones with the coach who knows how to manage the season.

"It will be a showdown between [Ciro] Ferrara and [Jose] Mourinho."

Perhaps he may want Giovinco back?
