'Some' people? I'm not just any person, I'm the dutch touch around here. You better show some appreciation my way, before I change my mind about you and start giving Dusan all the credit.

:p

The think is he can play wide but he can't perform as well as in his natural position. You know what I mean?

So CAN or can he NOT play as a winger?! So far I've only heard Alen say he saw him play as one once.

Not that I don't value his opinion :p, but are there any others who've seen him do it or know he likes to / can play there?
if we want to play something like this

    gio-diego-candreva

it doesn't mean necessarily that he has to play as a winger. we can play this system with 3 AMCs as well. in addition to this caceres can go forward to the right side and momo/melo can cover for the spaces that martin will leave behind.

with the purchase of candreva and the return of iago we at last have the players to play the system with which we have done our best games.

the new formation looks nice. the only thing that i am afraid is ciro and his strange ideas. :shifty: :shifty:

    Sportitalia: Candreva to Juve tomorrow.

SKY: Candreva officially to Juve tomorrow. No other players involved, only a small fee for the loan. ~0.5m and 8.5m € to Udinese if we want to keep him. No mention if it's for half/full ownership.

Pastorello: Confirms a deal is done.

    Welcome Antonio!
Boy our guys really love those loan deals don't they ?!!

Well, we get to see how he plays, if he does well then we can keep him. No problem here unless the 8.5m id for half which is unclear atm.

Don't know if it's a good idea but we could just move this thread to the players section since the info about him is on the 1st post but I'll see what the others think. We could do this when the news shows up on the official site.

I know so little about this guy.. I just hope he can be of value. I just hope Ciro has him in mind to play next to Diego, as in:

    Candreva-Diego-Gio/Iago/Rossi*
    Striker

    *When fit, available.

I say wait for the official confirmation. If your sources are right, then it should be announced maximum by tomorrow afternoon, I guess.

    Then, open the Candyman thread.

I hope so. I hope he makes run ahead of Diego too so Diego doesn't have to stop and turn around in the final third every time.
exactly. They should compliment each other nicely. One goes up, one stays, one overlaps the other, etc etc. Both can work in tandem.
That means we need this guy to make our team work and if hes injured or suspended we're screwed.

We will more or less be building our team around him and Diego so hopefully he'll step up and perform.

    :weee:

this is fucking exciting. Our midfield gets younger, the rest of our team older. Best part is, not players used in the deal (I think). I guess that means we can use Zalayeta to pull in a defender ala Rannocchia, Bonucci, Kjaer, or Bochetti:D

I'm very sceptical about this transfer though...
In stead of waiting and collecting money for better players, we're trying to buy mediocore players for less money. Eventually we end up selling them, like Tiago, Molinaro and we've tried it too with Poulsen.

A team built around the two of them consisting of Buffon, Chiellini, Sissoko, Melo, Marchisio, Gio, Trez, DP, Amauri aint all the bad. Now if we can get our players that are misfiring like Amauri to start hitting the target we will be bad ass.

Wrong. A small fee for the loan with right to buy if he excels like we think he will. Not to mention he is 22. Young compared to Tiago/Poulsen when we bought them, plus he has Serie A experience which can't be neglected when the 2 i mentioned had none.
