Antonio Silva’s agent, Jorge Mendes, admits the Portuguese defender wants to join Juventus, while Francisco Conceiçao is happy to stay in Turin.

“Juventus want Antonio Silva, and Antonio Silva wants Juventus,” Mendes told Sky Sport Italia.

“Benfica have the last word, so patience is needed. We’ll see what happens. Surely, Antonio would love to join Juventus, but the transfer window is still closed, so we’ll see. He is an important player, he has quality and the best clubs in the world have followed him.”

Another Mendes client, Conceiçao, joined Juventus on loan last summer, and the Portuguese agent sees his client remain in Turin beyond 2025.

“His future is at Juventus. He’s very happy to be there, and the club is satisfied with him,” Mendes admitted.

“I hope the relationship continues for a long time.”

not good enough for benfica, but good enough for giuntoli.
Nah, he's an up and coming player who is currently third choice behind a veteran and another very good but more experienced young defender. If you want Araujo instead you can start at his €100m release clause and work down from that.

Araujo is probably the one who is less experienced but as it stands more talented. Silva is 18 months younger, was once a first choice and still should be.

Mendes has the power, if he is speaking like this it means it's basically already done.

Seems to be good on the ball, which they’ve been missing all season really. Never really watched him but he also has enough experience for his age that he can make an impact quickly. I still think they need fullbacks just as much as another CB, but this would be an upgrade over a player near the end.

So, is this guy any good?
Come on, You saw him in the Euros against Georgia.

Benfiquistas feel he's another product of the Benfica youth club where the promotion for a big sale outpaces the talent.

He's ok at times, but capable of complete brain farts.

Benfica will want €70m when he's worth about 12.

Didn't follow the euros except for the Italy games.

He's young so maybe he still has room for growth. Let's just hope whatever move materialises, pans out.
