Juventus Museum has followed up last year’s bumper August with another record-breaking achievement after 16,000 people opted to visit the club’s stellar attraction during the summer month.
With throngs of tourists arriving in Turin for their holidays and the magnificent World Master Games, the museum represented an unmissable port of call for those keen to embark on an unforgettable journey through the greatest football story ever told.
A notable section of visitors were Juve fans from other European countries: many from France and England, as well as a good number from Eastern Europe.
But many have also come from further afield. One particularly special visiting group was a host of Bianconeri supporters from the Persian Gulf, with each and every one of the travelling party from Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates arriving at Juventus Stadium in their official club shirts.
The Italian Super Cup won recently by Antonio Conte’s men in Rome against Lazio has been a big attraction of late, but perhaps the biggest incentive for fans to visit has been the ‘On Mondays we used to talk about football. Agnelli – Juventus: 90 years of black and white passion’ exhibition dedicated to the Agnelli family’s long and prosperous association with the club.
