It's amazing the things one misses when off the forum for a while.

I had no idea that Ogbonna had become the worst defender in the world and utterly worthless until I returned.

I suppose that sort of label had to be tranferred somewhere once Bonucci proved so many people wrong.

Angelo Ogbonna is expected to leave Juventus this summer amid reports of a Liverpool-Tottenham bidding war.

The Italian international defender managed only 16 appearances for Juve this season.

He has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Premier League and the race appears to have been whittled down to two teams.

According to ESPN, it is a head-to-head between Liverpool and Tottenham.

Ogbonna grew up in the Torino youth academy and was their captain before crossing the city to arch rivals Juventus in the summer of 2013.

We can sell him for 20-25 to PSG or better yet we can add him to the deal for Cavani they payed £50 million for Luiz, Ogbona certainly deserves 30 mil at least but we'll let him go cheeper.

Sending him out to loan in the EPL isn't a bad idea. If he does manage to perform, maybe he and Caceres, along with Bonbon, can form the core of our defence with Barzagli and Chiello on the wrong side of 30. If he's no good we can put it down to bad luck.. We'll still have Rugani and Masi in the wings.
