Hello

Can someone help me
I go on vacation and don't want to use my phone internet abroard
How do I turn this off so I won't get whatsapp and everything.
I have a HTC Desire S

In wireless and network settings, scroll to network settings and make sure that the "use in roaming" (or something similar) box is unticked. So Android wont use the mobile internet when you are roaming. I think iits unticked by default.

Yeah, I didn't understand one word :p . Mind elaborating?

First you need to root the phone (you need to root the phone if you want to uninstall system apps. You can go to the xda developers forum and find how to do it for your phone). When you do that buy titanium backup pro, and it will allow you to "freeze" apps, make them inactive without uninstalling them if you want to keep them for later. Plus, it can backup all your apps and data.

I can't connect my SII to my iMac. When I try to browse the device from my computer it says "This device does not have the necessary services" . Any ideas?

So I just got my first smartphone ever, Samsung Galaxy SII - any free apps you guys would like to recommend? I feel like a complete retard when using this phone :D . Soooo many options
Goal.com, Uefa.com, (there's RL and AFL apps if you're Aussie), ScoreMobile, LiveScore, Serie A Live, Banking Apps (depends on the bank you're with), IMDB, Google Earth, MagicLocker, Astrid Tasks, MP3 Music Download, Shopping List , Swiss Army Knife, 3D spirit level, Converter Pad, Offline Dictionary, Dictionary.com, XE currency, Tubemate (youtube downloader), GT Free HD, Millionaire, Tank Hero, Angry Birds, Unblock Me, Drag Racing, Checkers, NoLED (great for missed calls, messages etc), Brightest Flashlight, Bump, Gauge Battery Widget.

There's sooo many good apps! These are the few that come to mind for now. I've also got an Iphone 4S and I find equivalent apps are smaller on the Android (so they take less memory space) and are generally free.

is it true that S II overheat fast? if there are some owners of this phone please tell me the things you don't like about it cuz i'm very keen in buying one
You find that when playing graphic intensive games or videos, it does heat up substantially. So far it hasn't given me a problem though. My 4S heats up in a similar fashion though it probably doesn't reach temperatures as high as the S2 does.

It is silly to buy 2, it is only thinner and has a different shape but still the same processor with a slightly higher frequency.

The new Galaxy Nexus is sick. My phone already feels old with the permanent icons below the screen :D

Can't wait till I get the ICS update.

I hear you son. It's not even as if I have the patience, I just can't afford to drop this after a few months to get an even more expensive one :p
