Hey qais, Give this app a try. Your device is listed in the compatible list so it should be fine, and there's nothing really that can go wrong with rooting. In worst case scenario you'll stay unrooted.
Just make sure you read it all before trying it out.
I don't know if you've to be a member in order to download the attachments but either way register there, very helpful to upgrade and in general to maintain your phone.
Thanks a lot man, really appreciated. I should root my phone because it's getting ridiculous, just updated Aldiko and Angry Birds and the Internal phone storage was down from 44mb to 22mb.
Do I lose my Apps if I root my phone?
Btw does anyone know how to use an older version of an app? I like the older Aldiko more because it took much less space.
No you don't lose your apps when you root. And no, you can't restore an older version if you already updated unless you've got a backup of the older one which you don't since you're unrooted.
Look for your device on XDA, it should have its own forum. Read all the stickies and you should be fine bro.
I think you should give HTC a try, I am not saying that LG are not good but HTC have been in the phone market for so long that they are doing a great job, especially software wise. I had Sense on my old Magic and got bored of it, the Sense I am using on IS now is something totally different and the upcoming one is just a sex bomb. They are taking the open source thing to the next level just like Ubuntu did with Linux.
HTC are great but a little out of my price range. But who knows, maybe I can work something up in the future. If I had the choice, I would pick HTC over any phone manufacturer right now.
I have the Desire HD, love it and actually it was far cheaper for me on a plan than say an Iphone.
My only issue is that lately I have had some lag issues, especially when i am typing sms, it lags quite badly. Any fixes?
Why do the messages get deleted, I had an HTC for two years and never had this problem and now I've been running a new HTC and haven't faced this phenomenon.

When it happened to me I did a bit of reading to see if I could recover it. But sadly I couldn't. It seems its been an open bug on the Android front for quite some time (an year and half or something). Mainly HTC devices and Moto ones.
For anyone fearing losing their SMS's, install SMS Backup & Restore, and configure it to perform an incremental backup daily. This way, all your messages will be archived in your SD card and can be restored anytime you want.
Indeed. But by the looks of it, Sense 3.0 was designed specifically for dual-core devices. Doesn't seem just like a small update to Sense 2.1, but a whole new version designed from scratch. Guess it was inevitable.
YES! It takes a little bit of research to get to the point where you're familiar with the process, but it's definitely worth it, and you'll never look back.
