About you... go to Settings>Manage Apps> All Apps>ADW Launcher and click on the 'Clear Defaults' button, then press the Home button. Do you see any other launchers other than ADW now?

Still loads ADW I don't see why cyanogen just can't load a stock launcher

I love gingerbread, so far it was good for today, only thing was the rotation and how long it took . I'll look into it, oh and also the fact that my contacts havnt synced with my facebook yet.

I have a 16Gb card myself which replaced my 2Gb stock card. Didn't see any performance issues there. What you said holds good for Nokia phones with Symbian on it, not Android. Though I'd suggest you buy a Class 4 and above SD card. Higher class of memory cards are more expensive, but have higher read\write speed. This will come in handy especially when recording 720p videos or any high resolution video on your phone as you won't see any frames skipping in the video.

Oh cheers. Nokia is the main phone where I live and most peope have Nokias so they till me that it slows their phone down.
Hope I find a cheap high class micro SD card soon.

I think it's just a matter of preference. Both launcher pro and adw are good. I saw a new launcher by the same guys who did GO SMS, and it's good too.

Did you try ADW Ex? It has much, much more options than LauncherPro. I agree both are good but ADW Ex is a bigger swiss-army knife of the two.

From what I read in xda, a class 4 card should be more than enough for phones. Higher cards are used for digital cameras n stuff.

@kasaki: I'm not sure which phone gets it first.

Yeah, I tried adw ex. I just prefer LP cos it fits my needs.

I'm sure I typed 'ex' on my phone while typing that post. I've tried both. I just prefer LP. Plus, I've paid for it's extra features cos I'm sure I'll probably never use another launcher.

Yeah, that was my first impression but after a couple of minutes tweaking, I'm very pleased. I especially like swipe on desktop shortcuts.
