Was actually watching a show today about euro12 and one of the featured teams was Ukraine and they talked about this guy and from those few minutes that were dedicated to him alot of those goals he scored we're from his skill he created his openings and pretty much can make things happen. I think for 8 million he's worth the risk considering how weak our right wing is.

Ahahah... existing of this thread has made me lough when I saw it. As you could mention I am from Kyiv and to be honest, I have no desire to see Yarmolenko in Juve at all =D He has a good dribling skills but trust me... he is too dull for his position, and also has problems with shooting. He is like Krasic with Ronaldo's way of dancing with ball =D

I am quite impressed with Yarmolenko after todays game. He did good things, providing an assist for the comeback goal.. Decent speed everywhere on the pitch. Good technique both holding on to the ball, finishing and setting up the goal. Tracking back often, helping his team proving great workrate.. He would fit the budget with his contract running out next summer and certainly also the tactics of Conte.. In my eyes he is an ideal addition, if he's not replacement of Pepe then a great addition for depth and competition on the RW position.. Worth 8m € IMO!!

Unlike Krasic this guy has got a lot more pace all over the field and workrate. Krasic could only run forward whereas this guy is tracking back, helping his team - just like Conte wants his wingers to do. Saying Yarmolenko is a Krasic 2.0 is a joke. Offensively they're similar apart from the better technique in Yarmolenko. This guy can actually dribble.. A simple reason why Yarmolenko is to prefere over Krasic is:

    1. his wage
    2. his workrate
    3. his age

But more then anything: he fits the tactics with his style of play.. You can't just add anyone - I could come up with tons of RWs - google will help you find that, but actually watching players and understand what they need to do given you understand what the coach want from his players in terms of tactics is something different. Yarmolenko offers this. A potential transfer here IMO

i liked him very much today. far from enough for me to make an opinion about him since it's the first game i'm watching him, but nonetheless, he looked good today.

I liked him as well. For 8M would be a fair gamble.

But for 5M Juve could get Wellington Nem, Brazilian from Fluminense. Very, very similar to Giovinco, at a reasonable cost... would be a fair gamble.
