Juventus to use Iaquinta in Arshavin deal

Reports out of Italy today suggest that Juventus will use striker Vincenzo Iaquinta in the deal to sign Zenit St Petersburg star Andrei Arshavin.

According to Tuttosport, the 27-year-old Arshavin could be on his way to Turin after comments from Zenit president Aleksandr Dyukov which indicated he would only sell Arshavin if he were to get a star striker in return.

Iaquinta has struggled for a place in the Juventus starting line-up and has reportedly been promised a place in the starting line-up at Zenit if the deal goes through.

Arshavin is good but not world class by any means, not consistent enough. What did you see of him in the CL? not much. Let one of the EPL clubs spend £20+million on him.
