A lot of German players leaving Germany these days. A few years ago they all used to stick around in Bundesliga.

I guess because the Bundesliga is continuously gaining more recognition in the footballing world.

I think we have other priorities to consider an investment on a RB (LB, LW and securing as many as we can from MAtri, Quaqs and Aquilani)

how could this be a reason for footballers to leave the league? :D
Because other leagues are seeing/hearing more of these players, and trying to scoop them up.

And fuck we shouldn't let Beck get away from us, Marotta has to get him.

Hoffenheim has the option to extend his contract for another year (2013)... and it seems they want to...
So does that mean he has to sign a contract or can he opt to leave? (Not sure what you meant by the "option").

We would be in a great position to only spend 5-6m for a position we desperately need coverage for. Beck as a starter and Sorensen to back up RB and the 2 CB's if needed would give us depth along with Barzagli. Bring 1 good LB and have DC back him up and LM and we should be covered for defense.

I like that Beck would only cost around 5-6m (I think) which would give us more to spend for a top notch LB. Would be smart business if we pull it off. Makes perfect sense actually.
