Well it doesn't seem likely that he will get his chance here, loaning him is better than leaving him in a situation were he is lucky to make the bench

He will have to displace Cannavaro, which doesn't look like happening soon. Anyway, I think Ariaudo will have enough opportunities here and I generally agree with those that think that loaning doesn't help the player develop rather than staying here and fighting for his chance. let him get his chance, and if he isn't good enough, then by all means ship him out and bring one of those wonderduded.

Well we don't know that. The management would know, and they would know whether they think Rannochia and Kjaer are that much better to shell out cash for. You think Rannochia and Kjaer are good enough to start for Juve now?

Or how about loan him out, time to prove himself elsewhere like Marchisio and Gio did, gain experience and some needed credentials as a senior player, and then get back to a Juve defence that needs to be rejuvenated, that is if he performed well enough. Right now, you can hardly say Ciro is in the wrong for choosing Canna and Legro over him (and quite assuredly Caceres too). There is no space for him, unless our injury crisis reaches the defence.

Why be 5th CB when you can perhaps be starting CB for a decent club like Cagliari (worked well for Astori who is doing well for them).

I think Kjaer is good enough to start for Juve next to Chiello, Ranocchia? As I said I will wait a while before judging him but so far he seems brilliant

Yes, the management and the club would know (but you are still questionning them like you know better), and there is a reason why he doesnt play (we are a club in a real competetive level, take that in consideration), so its better to get playing time elsewhere and prove himself as a valiable candidate to rejuvenate our defence with in next season or the one after.


And yes, Kjaer and Rannocchia are better then him (more likely to get to start then him in that case). I have seen Rannocchia hyped too soon, but seen him enough in Azzurrini to know he is better, and seen him in his Serie A debute dominating two world class strikers. Same with last time I saw Kjaer in a full game being cancelling Zlatan out well. Kjaer's inconsistency and errors arent pointed out enough for my liking, but he is someone who has real good qualities and worth buying nontheless.

Like Iago, Pasquato and all those other youngsters who go off into oblivion and we forget about? Let him wait around and get his chance. I hate to compare Juve to other clubs but you can't argue with the track record of successful clubs like Man U and Barca who handle their youths well and their most successful ones are normally ones that have to wait for their turn and earn their spot.

I would definitely prefer him to start over Caceres in central defence. Caceres looks like a disaster waiting to happen and Ariaudo played a few games last season and didn't look out of place.

I didn't question the management, I said that he will get his chance. I just don't see why we should be going gaga over these other players when they're probably gonna end up in Ariaudo's place on the bench if we sign them in January.

1) I never said he was proven, I said he should be judged when he gets his chances, unlike others who think Rano and Kjaer are proven.

2) As addressed in the previous post, I didn't question them.

3) Exactly, so Rano and Kjaer aren't ready for our starting XI yet.

4) And I agree that no one else points put Kjaer's errors. He is no accomplished defender yet.

Is that necessary? Nobody is mad. Canna's Juve contract expires this summer, he has the option for a renewal but I don't know if he wants to and even if he does weather or not it is a good decision on our part. Canna has been world class for Juve this season but let's be honest, he only joined Juve as a stepping stone to build up his form and play regularly so he could make the WC squad. He doesn't give a crap about Juve and an accomplished 36 year old world cup winning captain won't have much motivation to really perform anymore next season. I thank Cannavaro for his year of service and forgive him for leaving during Calciopoli but I don't know if keeping him for another year is the best idea

I think he sign on for two years, with an option for a renewal for a management post. And why not have him for one more season? It'll be good to have him as a third or fourth option.

Only seen Rannocchia a few times but he looked very good. So we shouldn't completely dismiss him in comparison to Kjaer, who even though has been playing a couple more years in Serie A is not proven so we are still taking a risk.

Anyway the management need to decide whether we want to take on a youngster (someone under 23 or 24) with little experience. Or we spend more money one someone more proven to partner Chiellini. I think much will be based on whether Giorgio can lead the line by himself or not.

I agree with you, sadly, thats how Juventus work these days. We never give our talented players the chance to prove themselves yet whenever a young player proves himself in another club than the board wants them. It's exactly the same with Criscito, he was with us, we gave him the chance a few games and as soon as he fucked up we sent him away without giving him a proper chance. Now, he's in Genoa and is considered being the best LB in Serie A.
The same thing could be said about Jovetic or Candreva, as soon as Jovetic scored two goals against Liverpool we were interested, as soon as Candreva got selected for the NT then we were interested.
