We look so vulnerable under pressure and the defense gives me panic attacks but I eat my words on criticizing our starting 11. I also liked the subs.

Weird subs again but it works this time. Except that he should've replaced Bentancur earlier, he got really lucky there.
Did the same against Lazio and it caused us because Bentancur pulled out of a challenge leading to the equaliser.

If we have the options we need to make that change early when our mids are on yellows. We are far too open not to.

I really like some of the things he's trying to do with this team. Especially at the attacking end we at times look like we could absolutely trash some opponents when some small things click. Then sadly on the other end it's all a bit too chaotic for my taste. It's okay to not commit all all your mids forward at the end of the game when you're leading 3-1.

The picture below is from the 91st minute. It's basically a four on three as Danilo, Arthur, Berna, Rabiot and McKennie are all struggling to get back below the ball to defend. McKennie and Rabiot our two central midfielders you can barely see in the picture. This is just stupid football and if Maldini picks the right pass, Diaz has a brilliant chance to score.

And this is from the 93rd minute with Maldini running 40 meters free with the ball through our midfiled. Only Rabiot makes it in to the picture from our mids but even he is basically mispositioned. At least we have the man advantage here with all the four defenders below the ball.

These kind of positional mistakes can cost us dearly when we face better teams. I really can't even blame the players because this stuff happens so often it has to be by design. All three midfielders simply can't get forward at the same time, there needs to be some balance.

Yet our pressing game is not effective as compared to Milan either we have a good coordinated pressing game or we sit deep

This has been the issue all season, we are far too open and there is a gaping hole done the middle. The midfielders will get the blame but the whole system is needlessly open.

We are 3-1 up against the top team in the league and we seem to struggle to hold leads. We just need to be cleverer, tighten it up and keep the ball instead of chasing the game.

Great win and he can be proud but I still feel the same strengths and issues are present.

Our attacking play is the best its been in years. Its good. Our attack this season is very strong and should be an area of focus. I don't think other teams are going to be able to neutralize this Juventus from creating chances as they have in the past.

I suppose the sacrifice has been the midfield is frequently caught. Opposition has way too many turned over opportunities to just run straight at the defense and a resolution needs to be found for that or we might get murdered in some games.

Not sure if the solution is to utilize 3 man midfield with Arthur as Regista. Maybe we will give away fewer turnovers in possession then.

In general, it's because we don't counter press. That's the thing with committing so many attackers. You might as well counter press since they're already up there.

Instead our back line turns and runs back to their goal. So you just create a massive gap between the mids and defence.

It's not hard to figure out why we changed to this system after counter pressing and playing a zonal line last year. Because our old CBs don't want to play high up.
