I get what you mean. Eventhough Pirlo's been in briliant form since his recovery at times we're exposed and vulnerable to counter attacks. Fielding someone like Marchisio in that spot would ensure more solidity for our backline and we wouldn't be risking greatly every time we're caught on the break.

Our best game imho was against Parma and Marchisio featured in his spot iirc.

The great man will always be a legend but yeah every time somebody bypasses Tevez and Vidal/Marchisio/Pogba whoever, I fear for us. People can walk past Pirlo and do so at a ridiculously close proximity to him and it leaves us so exposed. He should be rotated in and out heavily with Marchisio.
