It's so nice to not have to watch a midfield consisting of two idiotic barbarians blasting the ball around the pitch like we have had throughout the years. Very refreshing to have someone who can actually pass the ball. Gee, imagine that, making neat passes around the pitch. Couldn't have ever imagined something like that before.
Seedorf is excellent, despite 35 years old, really creative, excellent dribbler and links up attack and midfield easily (missed him vs Lazio, Aquilani is nothing compared to him). And Van Bommel is one of the main reasons they went from being run over from random teams to being consistently strong 2nd of the season, he shored up their midfield alot as an anchor (a role Pirlo couldnt do anymore, or was injured too often to settle into Allegri's tactics)).
But the other two you are right with, they are terrible.

I'd love to get carried away, but we all knew Pirlo could perform like this when he's on the ball, but Parma never really gave us much trouble in midfield, so he could do his thing without much limitation. I reckon we'll have to swap to the 4-3-3, 4-5-1, or whatever you want to call it we played late in today's game more often. I hope we do anyway.. Vidal looks like he can add a lot to our play and 3 in the middle would be better.
Anyway, that's next week's worry... Excellent game by Pirlo, the man oozes class.
The shocking bit of giving him space is they played a 100% defensive minded midfield, not a single offensive player in their midfield, but somehow they all stood around doing fuck all, its not like they were naively offensive and we took advantage of that. Just hapless and pathetic "defensive" players.

Glad to see people are finally buying into Pirlo not being a crap signing, including Andy 
... at least now I won't be blamed for overselling him as was the case when I told you guys he would be the highest quality mid you have had for ages, including the pre-calciopoli years
I would hold off the horses of laughing at Milan, though - you can't make much of a mistake in not giving a 32 yo player a 3 year, 4 mil/year contract and letting him go for free. Pirlo;s time at Milan was over as he had not been that influential for the team for 2+ seasons now and he needed a change of scenery, new motivations, as well. This was a change that worked for both Milan and Pirlo ... and now Juve too. If Milan made a mistake with Pirlo it was holding on to him for longer than they should have instead of selling him 2 years ago and investing in another player.
Also keep in mind that what Os said about Parma playing into Pirlo's strengths is true and he is unlikely to be as influential when pressed hard and not given loads of space as Parma did today - in those games a 3-men mid would be a must for a more balanced team ... if not, Pirlo would be a defensive liability.
Either way, now Juve fans get to enjoy a quality player like Pirlo who looks to be enjoying this new experience and hopefully would bring Juve back from no-men's-land as Serie A desperately needs a strong Juve, not as strong as Milan, of course
