One of the things that impresses me about Pirlo is when he has the ball and a player is approaching him from the back. Every single time I think to myself "This is a lost ball, TURN AROUND!" , and the second the opposing player stretches his leg to tackle him, Pirlo changes direction and the other guy looks like a complete idiot.

Hahaha, what were Milan thinking. :seven:

They gave us a once in a generation player that still has at least 3 years in him, because his play doesn't relay on speed for FREE. Epic blunder by them.

It will be interesting to see how he does against a team who actually closes down our midfield.

I'd love to get carried away, but we all knew Pirlo could perform like this when he's on the ball, but Parma never really gave us much trouble in midfield, so he could do his thing without much limitation. I reckon we'll have to swap to the 4-3-3, 4-5-1, or whatever you want to call it we played late in today's game more often. I hope we do anyway.. Vidal looks like he can add a lot to our play and 3 in the middle would be better.

Anyway, that's next week's worry... Excellent game by Pirlo, the man oozes class.

LOL ? And why he should? Because Allegri benched him game after game? lmao
I am not saying otherwise, he wanted first team football and Juve gave him that. I am not complaining, I have always admired the player and still sometimes I cannot believe he's our own maestro.

Against big teams, I can see Conte playing Marchisio, Pirlo and Vidal. Next week though, I think it'll be similar to the starting XI today. Why change.

I wasn't aware we play Siena, so I wouldn't really change anything apart from the wingers.

I wonder how he'll fix the backline though.
