People, if you think that the defensive mistakes will end... then think again. In Milan, CB's like Nesta, TS and Maldini + Gattuso saved his ass most of the time.

Bonnuci and Barzagli will have a tough time doing the same.

I think it's just something you have to live with when it comes to Pirlo. The same elegance that makes him so good in attack, is his weakness in defence.

Those kind of players are quite rare in todays football. Xabi Alonso and Modric come to my mind, but I dont think we'll see any of those soon in Juve.

Cigarini could be another option but lets not fool ourselves, he doesn't even come near Pirlo in terms of quality.

Maybe not AS MUCH. But Jovetic becomes toothless without someone like Pirlo or Montolivo behind him. He's not as much of an AM as one may think, more of a SS in my opinion.

I think I'll have to agree with MilanMB, good thing he covers up for his mistakes offensively because defensively he's pretty weak apart from the individual mistakes he makes by trying to dribble at the back alone.
