I feel lile our management thinks we have a great squad as well.
We have a super squad for Serie A level hence why we can afford to gamble on Pirlo

But unfortunately due to various factors, we are unable to make that transition on a European level.

Pirlo might help us make that transition only as long as he's supported with sufficient resources

I think we can only be excited about Pirlo. Absolutely he is unproven, untried and untested - but isn’t that part of the fun & excitement?

We’ve had a year of Sarri - that is our ground zero. No one will be able to replicate the bad work and mistakes he made. The great thing is literally anyone is an improvement on Sarri.

The whole squad - none of them have even said goodbye publicly to Sarri - doesn’t that illustrate how he completely lost the dressing room and no one bought into his philosophy. Basically the players just went out there and tried to make something happen of their own accord despite Sarri... the Sarri experiment was literally a worst case scenario analysis. The only way is up from here

Everything would have made much more sense if Sarri was fired earlier and Pirlo took his place. Just like Bayern did with Kovac->Flick.

Since the management knew that players were against Sarri, you're allowed to bring in someone who gives serenity and motivation to the team. Perhaps Juve would still be playing CL and morale would be much better than it is now.

Bonucci and Danilo are the only one to have made a post thanking Sarri

But who knows? It’s an extremely ballsy move on Agnelli and Pirlo’s part, but I am kind of excited to see how it plays out. There’s something about him that screams winner and champion and he has a type of silent charisma and class about him that we all know and love. I can see the players absolutely running through brick walls for him and respecting the hell out of him. It’s a proper departure from the way we do things and I am actually genuinely excited for next season.

Welcome back Andrea! Bring us back to where we belong.
This is what gives me hope. I just trust Pirlo. To have played the game how he did required a perfectionist, mastermind, a stable genius.

I don't think the man would step into this position if he didn't have solid ideas and confidence. I don't see him agreeing to be part of some mediocre Juve project in a stop gap year.

Pirlo in 2021: I spent the evening playing PlayStation, then went and won the Champions League in my first year as a coach
