i know its goal.com but this article has some seriously hilarious excerpts from Pirlo's book

He sounds no where near as classy as he was made out to be.
So what? Pirlo never claimed to be the epitome of class and respect that everyone seems to think he is. He's a normal dude whos an absolute genius on the pitch and for some reason fans seem to equate his calm, cool demeanor as if he's some kind of saint

he's completely professional during games, never acts out or loses his cool, dont see what else you expect although it is funny how fans have created this false image of what they expect pirlo to be like in real life and are disappointed that its not true

who the milan fans?

I don't understand why they would be bitter towards Pirlo, the club disrespected him in the same manner they did with maldini and to a lesser extent costacurta.

It would be like Juve fans being bitter towards Del Piero
Yeah, a lot of him think that he's ungrateful after all that he won with them. Not just the Galliani thing but how he wrote about all the times he tried to leave but couldn't, etc. If you look at his thread on their forum, some people call him "Pirla" now. I just find it amusing.

well tbh who would be crazy enough to say no to barcelona at a time when they were at the top of their game, or even chelsea when milan were only prepared to offer a 1 year contract where he could be reunited with ancelotti. Seriously that is the annoying thing about milan fan's they don't seem to show any gratitude towards their best servants. What about those who accused kaka of belonging to money when he joined real madrid? yet they embraced him at milan last summer? what a bunch of hypocrites since they were also the ones who booed maldini in his final game for the club

lol have a read of the pirlo thread in the milan forum, they've flipped about his book.

He has ever right to criticise Milan lol, pathetic club, though it does make me feel thankful that we had Del Piero, when he claimed he wouldn't of been prepared to play in Serie B

The whole past 5 pages are pure gold.

If he did really mean what he said then he should be castrated for saying such blasphemous things about milan. On the contrary, if he dint mean it, then he is still a legend in my book. When exactly was this book written, if its after he joined jube, then i think he is just bitter that galliani dint offer him a larger contract whilst allegri preferred players like MVB who imo was better than him at that point and ambrosini.
God i miss mvb so much. If he was playing for us right now, we would be a top 3 contender for sure, we desperately need a player like him.
