depends on what cheap is. i see spending 4 mill on masiello, as you reported earlier, as too much. what would be his wage range at juve? around 1 - 1.2 mill?

He's solid, nothing special, yes, but he's definetily better than Motta (yup, I saw him play). He's also juventino, probably don't care about a bench role and he'll come for almost zero, I assume. Who do you want as a backup? You wanna burn Sorensen in that role forever?

he was promising at one point of his career though, he had over 30 caps for the Azzurini and played a solid half season for roma in 08/09. and nobody on this forum probably saw him play regularly before he joined juve.

The logic is if he played a solid half season for Roma I can't see why he couldn't play the solid half game let alone the half season for Juventus. It is either the poor tactics/coach and confidence or he wasn't so good for Roma after all. What I want to say is that you basically do not follow the player closely enough if he doesn't play for you favorite team and even shit could look like gold.

I remember saying he was on the bottom of my list for RB's. Like the very bottom. If I said something nice about him it must have been when he was playing with the under-20/21. He showed some glimpses of hope at the very start but took a stumble very fast. Kind of like De Silvestri.
