Its so obvious this guy will be in charge, just a matter of time. Even if Giuntoli stays I bet Chiellini will hold significant power.

edit: thought this was the chiellini thread. Its funnier this way.

I disagree. Agnelli was only chased after because he wanted Juve to be much bigger than they already were.

He couldn’t have predicted Covid, which is why the Ronaldo signing didn’t pay off as much.

Starting the Super League was necessary to keep our club from failing to complete. Look at the state of it all now, we can’t sign players for 20-30 million, while Sunderland who just got promoted has spent over 100 million already.
It is not sustainable in the short or long term. UEFA prevented it from happening to remain the only ones in control, and now even have a similar format for the UCL and considering negotiating for the Super League themselves (ironic).
Agnelli is already wealthy enough, he was only doing it for the success of Juve.

To end this long post, I also wanted to point out I still think the Super League is happening, but I’m not sure if Agnelli will be a part of it. There’s big investors from USA already so I can’t see it not happening. If Agnelli takes part, he will not return to Juve until its official and under way (Juve will not let him back in as they are trying to mend relations with UEFA out of desperately needing to stay in the comps.)

If Agnelli does come back… it will only be if he decides to stick through being on good terms with UEFA, and I find that hard to believe until Ceferin is gone.

I personally can’t wait for his comeback. Conte shattered my dreams of a Juve comeback to glory when he snaked us. I can’t see success with Tudor coming and I do see a Napoli dominant spell. But juve is Juve and we have to build our own thing.
