I wouldn't do a deal now but I'll definitely do this deal for June. The replacement will be inferior(most likely some young talent) because the money will be used to reinforce multiple positions.

Verbally agree on a deal and sell him in June.
There is the unknown of Manchester City's court case. They could be facing a massive transfer ban.

I'd say it's now or never.

We are talking about cash-strapped JJ who are losing €200M every year. This was expected to happen.

Our best player is recovering from an ACL. Our season ended when he got injured.
I agree, Bremer is our best player, no doubt. But our most useful player for this season is Cambiaso. He is exactly what our coach wants. But that is besides the point I wanted to make. :)

They could be relegated but a transfer ban plus points deduction looks more likely.I wonder what would have happened to Juve if we were in similar situation?

We're a smaller club than Inter and Milan, simple as that. Ultimate feeder club.

This team will never build a core ever again, we're destined for players like Koop and Danilo to be our captains.

How many fullbacks get sold for €70M though? For reference, Hakimi who was one of the best players in the league literally at Inda, was sold for less than that.

If it's anywhere near the €70M and that too for an Italian fullback, that's a pretty good deal.

Even the biggest attacking talent in Serie A for the past 2-3 years went for a similar amount.

If we are using the above two examples as a benchmark, then you can't say no to that fee. If JJ were a top 8 team in Europe, it would be a completely different story though.

I do agree with the general sentiment though that there is no trust in how we would spend that money.

It is Plusvalenza only and don't be surprised if yildiz is sold next we are in safe hands with Giuntoli.

If the player wants to go that's one thing.

If we're going to accept because we need the money then Giuntoli and Motta have brought the club down a tier in record time.

If we're accepting because we have ideas to spend that cash to improve the squad this same transfer window then let's see how good Giuntoli is. If we sell now and still miss Champions League I want heads on spikes.

We have no record of a request for 80mln€. It’s possible to reach an agreement for 55mln€ plus substantial bonuses. However, at least for now, Juventus does not want to proceed in January but would prefer to set up the deal now for June.

There are some rumours that we might persuade Barcelona to sell Araujo for 50 million euros from the funds available from the sale of Cambiaso.

I agree with all of your points. It should be a no-brainer. The last point is what keeps me hoping that the deal will not go through.
