He singlehandedly cost us 6 pts so far, so chances are higher that we'll miss out on the CL if he stays. If we sell him he might bring us 60+m from his sale and 100+m from not missing out on the CL.

Sell him for 60 and buy Dimarco.
Yeah, sure lol

Better prepare yourself for a Parisi or Antonino Gallo instead, at an inflated price ofc.

We were linked to one lb this winter

Considering he is from City Group club they could even link the move for Cambiasos and this guy

So we're going to sell our current best player just after we offloaded Danilo and take after this guy!
Great idea and we are in a rebuilding phase!

This would actually be a pleasant alternative, but he won’t be cheap either, not at all in fact, and doubt it can be done this January… we’ll see soon how it pans out i guess.

If City wants it badly they can make it happen, its their satellite club after all. Get this guy for 30m while releasing Cambiaso for 65m would be a great move

Best player? I really like cambiaso, but his season so far is pretty disappointing, and tbh he's more of LWB than a LB.
He is one of the most impressive players in the current squad. He, McKennie, Yildiz and Conceicao. the rest have been below average. Selling him in the middle of season is a huge mistake while we still have long road until the end of season(3 competitions League, CL and Coppa) and we have a lot of injuries.

65m is hard to say no to but just because he is having a bad patch of form doesnt change the fact that he is one of the better players in the team and under a manager who has a clue would be very important to us.

These type of deals would only reflect the financial situation we are in caused by pissing over 100m up the wall on failures like koop and DL.

Regardless of the fee...we will regret seeing him leave.

And being unable to offload Vlahovic and his astronomical salary.

who's not disappointing this season? yildiz, and? even locatelli, who made some measurable and visible progress, is meh. kalulu, thuram and chico are mostly fine, but it's a dysfunctional team of a dysfunctional club

cambiaso is a very good player. if we have ANY ambition of building a team for the next few years, him, yildiz, chico, thuram and bremer should absolutely stay. and imagine the replacements, if there would be any. is mckennie or rouhi our main lb for the remainder of the season? :lol3:

also, why we are selling him? because motta can't handle his players? because he has a bad run of games after coming back from an injury? money is the only partly acceptable reason, the club needs funds, that's obvious. then again, in that case you don't buy koopmeiners for 60m, you go for samardzic at ~20m. you don't pay 50m for luiz, you play arthur (no, i don't like him, but if anyone says that he couldn't have performed the same way as luiz did...) who's under contract. you don't fire danilo mid-season so that you can look for an alternative that will cost you. and you don't keep vlahovic for an other second, you immediately put him on the market at book value, and sign ANY cheap and semi-decent cf

selling cambiaso without a proper replacement on hand, mid-season is a small club move, period

I wonder if the Araujo saga had something to do with this sale. I mean, we actually wanted to offer 50m for him, where the he'll did we get this money from.

Well would make sense....this is a club who looks to sell and weaken one area to improve other area.

Juventus' request is 80M to sell Cambiaso in January. To date, no official offers have arrived, there are more the contacts between the Cambiaso entourage and City. Let's see if they make an official offer and what Juve will do also depends on Cambiaso desire to stay or leave.

The two clubs are talking but Juventus has not yet received an official, written offer. It will most likely arrive in the next few days.Cambiaso-City are already in advanced negotiations for a full agreement on the contract.

Juventus are aiming to get a higher figure for him but the deal is destined to be closed at around €65m.
