Andrea Agnelli has been confirmed as Italy’s new representative of the European Club Association.
The Bianconeri president will act as a reference point for the eight member Serie A clubs: Juventus, Fiorentina, Inter, Milan, Napoli, Roma, Sampdoria and Palermo.
The ECA is an independent organisation representing 201 professional clubs at European level. It replaced the previous G14 Group format, which was dissolved at the beginning of 2008.
Agnelli is currently in Geneva for the two-day General Assembly, in which a variety of topics are being discussed. These include financial fair play, the distribution of benefits from Euro 2012 and an in-depth study of youth football in Europe.
