Udine has a population of around 100,000, so a crowd of about 25,000 ain't bad.

If you want to make a vaguely sensible point, look at how frequently Milan, Roma and Inter have got crowds of less than 50,000 or how Juve can't sell out a tiny little stadium.
also bare in mind that people in england have a greater ammount of disposable income as well

Italian Serie A - Unofficial Average Attendance: 23,885

Spanish La Liga - Unofficial Average Attendance: 29,088 (21.78% better than serie a)

German Bundesliga - Unofficial Average Attendance: 42,495( 77.92% better)

Barclays Premier League - Unofficial Average Attendance: 35,187 (47.32% better)

French Ligue 1 - Unofficial Average Attendance: 19,935 (16.54% worse)

Dutch Eredivisie - Unofficial Average Attendance: 19,084 (16.75% worse)

4th highest in europe overall but not that much ahead of france and holland!!

were behind the premiership also were tickets are much much more expensive

i bouth my ticket to tottenham bolton this yr when i was in london for 75pounds which is 125$ roughly

i highly doubt a juve ticket is that expensive also..its known that the prem has the highest ticket prices in european football

im really curious to see what our avg attendance will be next yr with our new 41k stadium but i highly highly doubt it will be above 30000 on average!

I am sceptical about a manager who is younger than some of the players. It would look like little brother giving advice instead of manager giving orders. Also he can always fail miserably as being dominant in Portugal league and winning EL with Porto don't tell much.

5 Lazio 27,166 72698
6 Palermo 23,722 36349
7 Genoa 23,525 36536

18 Lecce 12,752 36300
19 Cagliari 12,166 23486
20 Brescia 9,888 16308

lazio, roma, fiorentina, bari, lecce, cagliari, udinese and bologna should be ashamed of themselves

you call that fkn worthy attendance!!!

12th team in germany has an avg attendance of 37000!!only three team in serie a beat that!!

athletic bilbao get more fans than lazio or roma!!srsly!!do they ever play in cl

newcastle draw an avg of 47497/52409!!
sunderland draw a crowd on avg of 39000/49000
west ham 33464/35533 (a team thats pretty much relegated)
blackpool 15768/16220

see how prem and german clubs fill their stadiums no matter how small or big or how expensive tickets are

italian teams cant even do that in cities like rome and florence and even the smaller stadiums have low attendances

this is a freakin disgrace!!!

even watchin games on tv u notice so many large empty sections in crowd and italy i think is the only country where there are still dividers between fans and pitches which makes the situation even more prone to criticism

According to Bild/TMW
The idea is gaining increasing ground to see the revelation of the engineer André Villas Boas as coach of Juventus. In fact, coming from Germany, more specifically, the German newspaper Bild, the sensational rumor to the effect that tomorrow morning there will be a meeting between the leaders Juventus and Porto to begin to enter into negotiations that would bring the young coach of the dragons in the court of the Old Lady. The Portuguese in addition to being at the top of the preferences of society Piedmont, having climbed Walter Mazzari and Antonio Conte, is also the majority of white fans the ideal candidate to take up the legacy of Gigi Del Blacks.

What makes him so certain?
He's been saying it for over a month now. He has most of his family in Portugal and they all feel that Villas Boas is going to Juventus. Their feeling is that he would rather take on a project like Juventus and build his legacy at Juve than stay at Porto.

And no, my brother-in-law is not just saying this to bust my balls.

He can't. I'm his landlord :D
