I'm probably going to study Italian next year. With "next year" I mean september 26th. I'm going to combine it with history, which means I'll have a very complicated schedule.

I chose Italian, because I want to learn the language anyway and also because I want to become a journalist. I could have chosen Dutch, but TBH I was too ****ing bored with Dutch literature. Besides, this way I'll learn a lot about Italian culture as well.

Dan, may I ask what you're doing in Stoke? :D
Im not. I just like that name of the town- its a favourite I use when I lie to people about where I come from. Saying London is so boring :D

I wouldn't want to say Berwick is bizarre, I'm sure its a lovely place, just has a "silly" name ;)

if you like the names like that though go for Kingston-Upon-Thames, much cooler :D

I like these silly names though.

It just sounds so ridiculous when you say: Ich komme aus ' stoke on trent '

I think ill die if the person said they came from there too :D

I remember we had a good laugh when we travelled through England and came across such towns as Kingston Bagpuize, Blubberhouses and Shavington Ho...

This town, however is a lovely town just on the southern side of the German border. Near Graz if I remember correctly. Lovely place to take the kids on a bank holiday weekend, too.
