McKelvin has now helped the Pats win 2 games with return fumbles. 6 years a kickoff fumble by McKelvin with a minute left helped the Pats win a MNF game against the Bills 25-24, and tonight, a punt return fumble looks likely to seal the game for the Pats.

Conclusion: McKelvin is Pats sleeper agent, sabotaging his team so Pats win. I think Pats have many sleeper agents around the league on their payroll to sabotage their own games. Pre-2006 Peyton Manning was certainly one of them. Kraft gave Manning extra million each year to throw interceptions against Pats. :D

PS. Last time McKelvin had the score and a penis spray-painted on his lawn by angry Bills fans... This time?????

What a catch by Watkins. Amazing.

Brady plays like crap and the Bills just shoot themselves in the foot over and over. Rex Ryan.

What a screwjob the refereeing was tonight. An inadvertent whistle denies the Pats a TD to go up 17-3 and the explanation after the game is: "The official lost track of the ball and blew the whistle." WTF :sergio:

Not the prettiest of displays but there will be one of these days here and there. Just hope Amendola is OK, at least nothing long-term, otherwise Pats will be down to Lafell and an undrafted rookie at WR.

What? Brady's 4th quarter consisted of an interception and 2 completions... Very clutch.

Pats defense won that game. Absolutely stifling. Impressive performance. When the Offense and Defense click at the same time, very scary team.

That int in the 4th was all on Brady - boneheaded throw there. He double clutched the ball as he saw the throw wasn't there, yet he threw it anyway. Got undisciplined and overly adventurous aka stupid on that one.
Other than that, Pats lose a key receiver 3rd game in row and the passing game is running out of options. OL was especially bad tonight ... I mean Bridgewater had more time to throw than Brady had tonight. Injuries at WR + bad OL play = ugly passing game. They need Danny A back for Denver.

Defense has been great this year - now up to #1 scoring D in the NFL (as in fewest pts allowed). That's even more impressive when you consider well above 50% of the points they have allowed were garbage-time points when probability of victory was at least 99% and playing prevent D all the way.

We are onto Denver! :p

I love the Pats philosophy of drafting defensive position players in the first rounds. Very smart way to build a championship team. It's why that defense is so damn good this year.

Brady took like 12 hits tonight, impressive that he didn't get sacked more. He's in for the Rodgers treatment now with missing all his best receivers. Rodgers at one point was missing Nelson, Quarless, Adams, and Montgomery. Still missing Nelson, Quarless and Montgomery. Good thing Brady still has unstoppable Gronk. Be interesting to see how long Amendola is out for. Dobson too for that matter. Is there any news on Edelman returning for the playoffs yet? I read it's a maybe...?

The high picks on D over the past 2-3 years are finally paying off. With a D-minded coach like BB, Pats have always prioritized D in the early rounds, with Gronk being the one notable exception, which is why Brady has always had an under-the-radar WR corps. Still, for some years after they changed generations in 2008-2009 (lots of vet players either retired or were traded/released), the D was pretty bad, especially vs the pass. It took a change in philosophy - going from overly big and sluggish players (e.g. Wilfork and Spikes) in the front 7 to smaller, more mobile and explosive DTs and LBs - for the D to transition to the next level over the past couple of seasons.

This year, they have been great so far, as Collins and Hightower are finally vet NFL players, while Ch. Jones has finally put things together and is playing to his potential. Great contributions from 2nd year player Easley and rookie DT Malcom Brown. Free agency has also been good to the Pats in the form of J. Sheard - a very underrated OLB/DE, who they loved in the 2011 draft but was drafted and then horrendously miss-used by Cleveland.

Edelman, barring any setbacks, is expected to be back for the play-offs. He had the same injury as Dez Bryant in week 1, basically. Dez was rushed a bit but if the Pats get a bye, Edelman could be back right on schedule for the POFs, if everything goes smoothly.
Edelman out for the rest of the reg season hurts and hurts a lot but the biggest loss so far is Dion Lewis, who offered an entirely different dimension to the Pats O. With him, they were truly unstoppable.

Dobson looks done for the year. So, Keyshawn martin (currently injured too) and Chris Harper (rookie) will have to step it up.
When Amendola went down tonight, Buffalo had no trouble doubling Gronk on every down, which is another issue with losing numbers at WR besides the obvious one. TE Chandler will have to earn his roster spot, I guess.

Next man up :p

Apparently it only sunk in with their Defense. They needed someone like Joe Montana to give a pep talk to their Offense. :D

Maybe Tom Brady himself could have told the Bills offense to "have some fucking pride!"
Well, I don't know about Montana but Steve young was available as part of the ESPN post-game crew. Then again, he looked rather baffled listening to Mr. White Suit tying to build a semi-coherent sentence around the idea of Sexy Rexy being a better coach than Belichick.
