Lynch could have a bad year, imo, depending on how his OL shakes up. He's up in age already but the Hawks OL is a work in progress, to say the least. If you want to see what I mean, check out Lynches production last year in the games where only one of their starters, but also their best OL-man, OC Max Unger (now traded to the Saints), was missing. He got injured in the game vs the Skins and returned vs the Chiefs - Lynch's stats were night and day.

Watch out for RB Bell and WR Brown, both from Pitt, to have subpar years as well also because they lost their starting OC M. Pouncy, also the heart beat of that entire OL. Last year Big Ben and the entire Steelers Offense had a record year mainly because they finally found stability at OL after years of Ben getting the shit kicked out of him. Pouncy was the main reason for that.

As they say, the Devil is in the details. ;)

Yeah, I actually regret not picking up a decent QB backup at ~round 9 or so, completely forgot about that.
Thanks for that btw

I was gonna pick Martavis Bryant in early 8th but my next pick was all the way till late 9th, so I had to draft one of only two proper QBs left.

Round 11-13 would have been more than enough. Flacco is still out there though. If I were you, I'd pick him up.
Thought about him too, but is he really that big of an upgrade over Carr? I mean I'm going off various internet ranking site here and all of them rate them virtually the same.

would have helped you out here but your team is already too strong :p

I'd go with Flacco over Carr, but ask @acmilan. He loves to tell people what to do.
:D

I just love scheming :p

Peyton should be alright. The projections of his demise are overblown, imo. He isn't as good as he was 5+ years ago but last year he was indeed injured late in the season, hence why his stats plummeted. And this year he should throw the ball a bit less too.

By the way, I proposed a tasty deal. I think we'd both benefit greatly from the trade.
enough with these stupid trade proposals, boy. You are the commish this year, act like it.

I'm surprised this thread isn't full of praise for me and my awesome team. As far as I'm concerned, the league is already won.

I was thinking about Hill for Maclin, but I guess I'll forget about that.

It kind of sucks that everybody won't get two play every team two times. 8 person league was a better fit that way.
Have another proposal on defensive scoring:

Points Allowed 0 points 12
Points Allowed 1-6 points 9
Points Allowed 7-13 points 6
Points Allowed 14-20 points 3
Points Allowed 21-27 points 0
Points Allowed 28-34 points -2
Points Allowed 35+ points -5

Reason: The rules in today's game are geared towards scoring more and more points. It's a true feat for a defense to keep an opponent from scoring fewer than 14 or even 21 points in a game, which is a rather underrated factor in determining the winner. The current scoring system barely reflects that as points awarded to a D/ST unit are taken away too quickly.

I hope you realize Maclin and Murray won't get half the points they did last year. Not to mention Sanders is playing with a broken down Manning. You got Dez and that's it.

Suck it, bro.

Maybe you can make a blog with your proposals instead of bothering me with them?
