A good artist doesn't blame his tools

WTF are you talking about? They have 1 receiver playing tonight who caught more than 9 passes this season, and he's a washed-up 31 year old who was released by both the Raiders and the Giants in the offseason.

Not 1 of their 4 top receivers coming into the season is playing. They have 3 active receivers in this game, 1 with 2 catches this season, 1 with 9 catches. A QB has to have someone to throw the ball too.

I can excuse you but you won't like it.

You either didn't read a single word of what I said earlier or simply failed to comprehend it.

When you have a 36 yo QB with a 0-2 p-off record being touted as a SB contender, one of the following is true:

1) Palmer is the unluckiest, excellent Qb in the history of the NFL or

2) Palmer is mediocre Qb thrown in a really good situation - great WRs, great ground game, great defense.

I'll take my chances with the latter. That's why I said that if GB establishes a somewhat decent running game, while the D manages to limit the ground game of the Cards, Rodgers will have a chance to win it despite his obviously inferior WRs (now they have lost Cobb too) simply because he is a superior QB to Carson freaking Palmer.

To quote John Lennon: "I'm an artist, and if you give me a tuba, I'll bring you something out of it."
A Dane thinking he knows something about football.

This game is on GB's D, and their O-line somehow getting a run-game established. Without a run-game the passing game has no chance. Patrick Peterson has taken James Jones entirely out of the game, which could have been expected for 1 of him or Cobb, but the fact Adams isn't playing, and Cobb is now injured, means a receiving corps of Abbrederis (I admittedly really like him for the future) and Janis (complete shit). I just don't see Rodgers doing much with that.

Keep taking your chances because they're wrong. Last I checked, this is a team sport and just a good QB isn't enough to make the playoffs. There are a lot of factors that go into getting there and the QB is only one of them. Carson is a quality passer who was always in the wrong situation. If he hadn't gotten injured last year, he'd be where he is this year.

And this game is so far proving me right and you wrong.

But when it comes to Aaron Rodgers, a QB is supposed to make masterpieces with all his receivers injured... What a troll.

What? Arizona has 7 points in an entire half... They have 75 yards total offense. This game hasn't shown anything good about Carson Palmer and the Arizona offense.

Arizona's roster is better than, or at least as good as, that of the Packers in virtually every single aspect, except the QB position. Not only that, the Packers are missing key pieces in the passing game and can't establish the run. There goes your "team game" argument down the crapper.

Any other ideas?

Green Bay is a shitty team bro, we get it. I still don't see how a couple missing receivers who were shit during the regular season anyways are contributing that much to it. If anything, they probably would've dropped more balls and never even led to the field goal opportunities.

You need to pay attention then.

Arizona has gone from top total offense in the NFL at 408 yards/game and 2nd in scoring offense at 30.6 yards/game...

...to 75 yards and 7 points in the first half.

Carson Palmer is going to have to do a lot better than that to prove he's a quality playoff QB. Especially considering how mediocre GB's defense was this season.
