The Pats trade a 4th rounder to Seattle for Deion Branch!

The only reason why this move is questionable in my eyes is because Peoli isn't on NE's side pulling the trigger anymore.

You mean Dirty Sanchez time.

(Speaking of ass to mouth...)

A great game to watch if your a packer fan. A typical Favre interception for the Stinky Vikes and all those touchdowns will still come back to Green Bay along with Favre when he retires. I still hate him for now.

Damn, a 4th rounder for Deion Branch. That's pretty fucking steep. When I read that he was traded for a draft pick, I was thinking "OK, so what, they got a 6th or 7th round pick for him?"

I guess we'll see if he can stay healthy. These two obviously have some chemistry together, but this seems like a stretch. Regardless of what happens in New England, this is definitely a great deal for Seattle, given Branch's production during his time there.

I know that Belichick's decisions are considered beyond reproach for some, but the way this story (Moss' departure, etc.) is unfolding, at least from what I've read (not sure if it's all accurate), isn't exactly the smoothest of operations.

Fucking 9ers.

Yea that last pick 6 was just classic. For some reason I felt it in my bones that he was going to throw an INT on that last drive :D

 sorry about your Niners man. The problem starts with the front office and trickles down to the coach and then to the players.

I just don’t think Branch is going to be the factor he was back in 04. He has done nothing in Seattle and I doubt he can just “turn it back on” even though he’s moving to a more pass happy offense.

I don't even know what to make of it anymore. I find it laughable that people are saying that Alex Smith has a lot of guts for coming back and playing the way he did when he was being threatened to be benched.

He should be playing as if his job is on the line, regardless of whether it actually is or not.

And Singletary has turned into a buffoon. I hate to see it because I like the guy, and his character and convictions. He just can't coach, and that is a bit of an issue in the NFL. But his conviction took a bit of a hit when he was talked into letting Smith finish the game out by Gore and Davis.

You're the coach, you have the final say. Make up your mind and stick with it.

It makes watching Monday Night Football even more painful when Jon Gruden is talking football, and he has forgotten more about the sport than most people know.
