As I heard it on the local news... the poor guy got in to a bar fight with some other guy who was bugging his girlfriend. Later that guy and his friends followed the poor guy from the bar, they beat him up and finally did that awful thing with the sidewalk. I hope they didn't get the idea form the movie.

sth like this happen in malaysia too...a girl stripped and ran around Kuala Lumpur city, and all the police were chasing here...i saw it with my bare eyes..it wasnt pretty..people were protesting against sth, i think a building....HONEST..

No no... i was talking about the sidewalk scene. Some psychos in a town near mine, actually did that to some poor guy... and they called it a smilie...
