don't forget how Texas marched into the 'Shoe back in 05 against a better OSU squad and won. USC has a better team (potentially) and a far better coach than that 05 UT squad.
I don't think that OSU is better, talent-wise.

I'm just a tad bit anxious about a true freshman QB going in there, and basically a brand new defense

:D

Remember, we have OSU at Beaver Stadium this season. So if we lose to them there, all bets are off anyway.

So I think it behooves us that we'd want USC to lose and OSU to be disqualified from the NCAA because they choke too much.

So go ahead, root for Ohio State.

And make sure you tell all of your Penn State brethren about it, too.

See how long you last

Syracuse, eastern Illinois, and Temple???

Really, Andy???

What the hell kind of schedule is that? You're going to need some help from outside forces to get into the NC game.

I'm not busting your balls, I'm just saying. That isn't exactly the most convincing non-conference schedule I've ever seen

I've already written in this thread that the possibility exists that even if we do have an unbeaten season, and somebody like a USC or Texas has just one overtime loss against good opponents, we might not make the championship game. Would it be justified? Don't know, hard to say.

But I do wish we'd throw in some better opponents. Last season was good because we played Oregon, a ranked team and blew them out. The schedule needs to be better.

I just looked up your schedule for the first time a few minutes ago on Fox, because I didn't know if there were any potential road blocks on the way to the OSU game.

But I couldn't get past those three opponents without saying, WTF?!?!?! :D

There is absolutely no reason why we couldn't go unbeaten.

Unless we screw it up ourselves, obviously.

OSU doesn't scare me, especially after their performance against Navy.
