This is actually true.

According to Sky, Viola will take him on a 5-month loan paying his wages, and after that decide if they want to give him a new contract or not.

Nonetheless, we are rid off him once and for all.
How can there be an option to buy on what will be a non existent contract?

There's no formal option, but an opportunity to give him a new contract. If they don't give him one, he'll have to look elsewhere.

We won't have anything to do with him from the second he signs the loan contract.

That just doesn't make sense. If they take him on loan and wait to offer him a new contract at the end of the season what is the point of a "buy option" being inserted into the deal? To me it seems like the only person who would want any kind of a continuation of the old contract is Amauri since he is way overpayed on it.

Amauri is just an idiot. Let's leave it at that.

They'll decide at the end of the season. His loan will expire and he is free to fuck off whereever he wants.

Can't wait to see how tries to pick him up.
