Old Lady To Unveil Amauri On Tuesday
New Juventus arrival Amauri will have a medical and sign his contract on Tuesday morning according to reports in Italy.
he Palermo hit-man has been involved in one of the longest transfer saga's in Serie A. The move was on and off several times as both clubs failed to reach a deal.
However, all the implications seem to have been ironed out and the Brazilian's move will be made official early next week.
According to a club source, the striker will undergo a medical in Turin on Tuesday morning and shortly afterwards he will sign his new contract.
Amauri will earn €3.7m per season over the next four years. Juve were only willing to offer the player €3.0m per year. However, they upped the stakes after the deal was on the verge of collapsing following interest from Real Madrid and Milan.
Amauri thus becomes Juve's second addition following the capture of Albin Ekdal on Friday.
There are bound to be more arrivals at Juventus over the next few months as club president, Giovanni Cobolli Gigli, has promised reinforcements as the Old Lady plans to launch a serious assault on the Champions League next term.
