Well here we go, first secco struggled to renew our players contracts (del piero, trez....) thank god we had battega that helped the situation. Second he wasted almost 3 months trying to sign millito and at the end he was forced to sign andrade who's known to be "highly" injury prone player, secco gambled on him and wasted 10 million euros and we all know what happened. He sold half of de cegglie (promising youngster) contract to siena in a deal to get molinaro :melayyanandmessi: and now he wants to buy him back and pay something like 5-7 millions smart business don't u think!! He bought a 20 year old defender (criscito) who never played in serie A for 7 million euros and thought that he'll survive in serie A (such a young player playing in such an important position doesn't need a smartass to predict his failure) then he did something that i call (pure stupidity) he loaned him to genoa (in mid-season) when we had shortage in defence imagine if lazio refused to loan us stendardo we'd be a shitty situation. Thank god Legrottaglie retained he's form this season otherwise it would be a complete disastor with our back line..... I can understand people defending ranieri atleast he did a decent job (some people like him and some people don't) we can argue about him. But defending Secco is just beyond me, the guy is a complete disastor, i really want him to succeed in juve (after all its for the sake of the club) but he failed every time and plz don't tell me he got us sissoko cause everyone knows that ranieri is the one who insisted on him. Secco will continue doing he's stupid business again this summer, mark my word on this.....
So basically, everything we did right was because of bettega and ranieri, and everything that has gone 'wrong' is due to secco. Ok then. It's funny how shortsighted many people are. Why don't people understand that football-transfer-business is WAYYYY more complicated than picking up the phone and 'buying' someone. We're not in some football-manager video-game where you have 80millions and you can splash the cash and buy 25 players who then suddenly bring home the cups. Did you ever think about why milito did not come to us? Surely not because secco's face didn't please him. What if we paid 10 millions more (as for andrade) and then suddenly milito would have injured himself. Now that would have been better wouldn't it? I won't start arguing with anybody whether or not we could have done better, because we shurely could have. Just look a bit further than 'we didn't sign van der vaart; secco's a jerk'. I think we can all be sure that he wants the best for juve (otherwise he wouldn't work there) and the fact that we have some wise men in our management shows the stadium plan (for example). So, there's not a bunch of idiots sitting on a table and discussing what they can do wrong next.

Secco failing is not up to debate. He clearly did fail and done mostly a terrible job. The issue here is: will he repeat it? Chances are 50-50 I guess, and a lot of people don't want to take risks anymore with him, that's why they want him out and I perfectly understand that. All of us want him to do a better job now and has a better chances of doing so this season. However, he doesn't exactly bring confidence into you and if he fails, we will not progress like it was planned. It is very important to buy good, quality players in the right postions this season, even if we have limited budget. Now, if he fails again, he let us down for the 2 seaosns already. No more excuse now for Secco. He is under big pressure and we will see if he can handle it.
On the other side though, I fail to see where has Ranieri done wrong and it completely amazes me (and angers me) when I see people hating on him and calling for his head. The man did a great job this year (even Moggi and Lippi admitted that, which are the main figures of our huge success as a club ---> that tells you everything you need to know) and completed his task convincingly. I understand people aim high and we will need a better manager but not immediately. Let Ranieri finish what he started and then bring a new, winning manager after 2 seasons. Otherwise, we will start changing coaches like socks, every season, or even (God forbid) every half-seaosn. Do we really want that?

Same thing happened with Secco he was the wrong man at the right time, he was given a task he is not up to and it is unimaginable that he will decline it. I kind of think even Zamparini indicated in a roundabout way that Giovinco, Marchisio and De Ceglie were not in the negotiations when he said that "Juventus know which three players we want in exchange, everything else is just talk spread by agents." Which tends to tell me that most of what we hear is BS.
I really, really think the three players are Nocerino, Marchionni and Criscito since each of them fill a hole that Palermo has. Palermo's defense is getting gutted and I'm sure they want some reinforcement to come with a swap deal like Amauri.
