Amauri Carvalho de Oliveira (42 Viewers)

At what cost would you be ok with Amauri?

  • Giovinco + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + Giovinco

  • Nocerino + Almiron + Marchionni

  • Almiron + Marchionni + cash

  • Fuck no, don't want him at all

  • Almiron+cash

It makes the transfer period more exiting.

I'm not talking about journalists. I'm talking about people here. For example in the previous pages people were having a go at Secco because he included Marchisio, Seba, and/or De Ceglie plus some big amount of cash for a player. Even though there were no quotes to prove this, and just a day before that our President said the trio will come back.

Then the new development was that the deal could incude Marchionni, Palla or Nocerino, yet people still came and said how stupid Secco, and how they are goiing to kill him for inlcuding Marchisi and Seba.

It's hilarious.

Palermo: Amauri-Juve deal 'soon'
Tuesday 15 April, 2008

Amauri is very close to joining Juventus, concedes Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini after today’s meeting. “I think it will happen.”

The patron sat down with Bianconeri President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli, director of sport Alessio Secco and general manager Jean-Claude Blanc.

“We got round the table and looked at the situation,” explained Zamparini as he left the meeting this evening.

“Their interest for Amauri is confirmed. We saw what players they have at their disposal and we’ll see what happens.

“There will be another appointment in about 30 days and from now until then our director of sport Rino Foschi and Juve’s staff will work to reach an agreement and I think it will happen.”

Amauri had also been linked with Europe’s top clubs including Milan, Inter, Roma, Barcelona, Manchester United and Real Madrid.

The Brazilian’s price-tag could shoot up soon, as he is in the process of receiving an Italian passport and could choose to play for the Azzurri.

He impressed Juve last week when netting two sensational goals in Palermo’s 3-2 victory.

Just because his name ends in a vowel doesn't make it Italian . Zanetti and Mancini , do they sound Italian ? MAybe , but there is an Argentine and a BRazillian that carry this very name . It's because there's this thing , it's called LATIN .
Zanetti and Mancini are Italian surnames, though. Both of them obviously have some kind of Italian ancestry.

Smart move, that you edited your post. 'Cause it really was bullshit :D.

Names like Zanetti and Mancini all stem from Italy. Same like all the spanish names in South-America stem from Spain etcetera.

    True,
although i'm 100% sure that half of those who didn't want him never saw him in their lives before the palermo-Juve match.
:melayyanandmessi: Don't be so shoor ;)

Remeber he scoord on us in Delle Alpi with Chievo, no one was talking about his ass then...and now 15m€ + half of De Ceglie and Marchisio...NO THX....

I thought Mauro/Amauri has a lot to do with the African Moors who were part of the Roman Empire (called Mauri by the Romans) and who later ruled Spain and Portugal for centuries.
Even the name Mauro means dark skinned.

But that's only the boring historian speaking out of me :D
